'At the age of five, I knew I was destined to grow up and become a Chiropractor, just like my Dad!' says Dr. Paul A. Kennedy.  Being a second generation chiropractor with over 30 years of experience, he truly understands what the Wellness model is.  'I was raised in that model.  Today my my wife Sharon and I 'live' the wellness lifestyle.'  He dedicates every day to helping his patients learn how to attain true wellness for themselves and their loved ones.

Prior to becoming a Chiropractor Dr. Paul was a commercial pilot.  His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science, Specialist in Nutritional Science from the University of Toronto.  He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO in 1991.  After graduating, Dr. Paul began practicing in the East York Area of Toronto with his Father, the late Dr. George E. Kennedy, who practiced for over 41 years.  His early years of practice were under the guidance of his mentors, his Father, Dr. George and Dr. Keith Innes, who shared their chiropractic expertise, wisdom and knowledge freely. 

He and his wife relocated to the beautiful North Bay area in early 2017 to begin sharing his expertise with the community.  Being a Wellness Practitioner he knew the importance not only of taking care of the body through regular chiropractic care, exercise and healthy eating but also stress management by 'Following your Bliss'.  Trying to live your dreams.  For Dr. Paul and Sharon that meant leaving the stressful City Life to live in beautiful Northern Ontario.

He has completed his Certification with the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) as a Chiropractic Wellness-Lifestyle Practitioner (C.C.W.P.).  After extensive post-graduate training, he is Board eligible for a Diplomate in Neurology through the Carrick Institue for Graduate Studies.  

The academic combination he attained gives him a solid background in the necessary sciences required for all aspect of the wellness paradigm.  'My conclusion from all my scientific studies is that the most important aspect to health is the Nervous System;  that is, proper brain-body communication through the spinal cord.'  The chiropractic adjustment ensures that the communication highway functions with peak performance for a healthier life.  Dr. Paul continues, 'But, I believe that in order to be the best Doctor of Chiropractic I can be, I must never stop learning.'  He is continually studying, attending seminars and reviewing current research in all aspects of health and wellness.

Experience, integrity, honesty and a caring attitude for his patients and community have been instrumental in the success of his Practice.  All patients receive personalized care, which helps free them from pain and elevates their wellness.

Dr. Kennedy uses a 'whole person approach' when taking care of his patients.  By combining the very best hands-on and instrument adjusting techniques, state of the art computerized scanning tools and providing the newest and best professional grade natural vitamin and mineral supplements on the market today, Dr. Paul is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

He leads by example, receiving chiropractic adjustments regularly, as does his family.  He explains, 'I do my yoga stretches every morning.  I try to achieve two to three workouts every week, as does my wife.'  He and his wife love wildlife and they de-stress by taking nature walks.  He also enjoys playing in his wood working shop.  In addition, they regularly use biofeedback with guided mediation.  The diet in Dr. Paul's household is clean and organic and includes nutritional supplements on a dally basis!
